Farmhand Certificate II in Agriculture Work at this level is likely to involve a wide range of farming tasks under limited supervision. Tasks could include: operating tractors and equipment; undertaking irrigation activities; chemical application; crop maintenance; farm maintenance.
Farmer Certificate III in Agriculture

Work at this level is likely to include coordination of a wide range of farming tasks without supervision including: irrigation operations and maintenance; harvesting; farm maintenance; machinery and equipment operation.
Farm Supervisor Certificate IV in Agriculture Work at this level may involve the responsibility for the supervision and training of a number of workers and rice farm activities including: supervision of planting and crop maintenance activities; staff supervision and training; budget and stock control; machinery and equipment management.
Farm Manager Diploma of Agriculture or Rural Business Management Work at this level generally involves significant responsibilities in managing rice farm activities including: property planning and management; crop management and production; staff management; business planning and operations.
Farm Business Manager Advanced Diploma of Agriculture or Rural Business Management The rice farm business manager has the primary responsibility to ensure that the rice farm enterprise is successfully managed. Responsibilities may include: whole farm planning and management; managing production systems; product marketing; strategic planning; rural enterprise management.
